Anyone else shared the same thought?

While I think Andre Johnson will be a solid pro (you can't go wrong with a reciever named Andre) I really thought the Texans should have drafted a DT. In my early mocks I had them taking Jimmy Kennedy, but when Dewyane Robertson's stock rose I thought they should have taken him. It would have allowed you guys to move Payne and Walker on the outside and have one of the mammoth rookie DT's in the middle. I saw it as a way to stop the run and let your linebackers lose on the quarterback.

We pretty much had to take an offensive player.

The offense was pathetic last year, Andre was the best offensive player left so it was the perfect fit. Carr now has 3 very good targets in Andre Bradford and Gaffney. Carr is the franchise player if they fail to give him something to work with hes going to end up a bust. 'Dre is defintely something he can work with it makes perfect sense. Robertson's going to be a terrific player but 'Dre just makes more sense. The Texans probaly will take their franchise defensive player in next years draft maybe Will Smith

Cant agree more, we had to help out Carr, like fadeaway said as well.

When you have the best rookie quarterback from last year's class, you gotta give him a receiver that can handle his passes.
