Why a decade? How about the next century? Can the Rockets make the playoffs in 2103? How about a 1000 years from now? In the year 3003, will future generations be complaining on this BBS about Steve Francis XXV not being able to get the ball to Yao Ming XXII?

Ahh, so you see the future as I do. After exorbitant contracts like those of KG, we'll slowly move onto "lifetime contracts" like college coaches have. Finally we'll have "Gene pool contracts" where anyone in a current player's gene pool must play for their forefather's team.
