Of cause Steve was wide open, he past the ball to Yao. Yao just got lazy and warriors did not double him, so he settled for 3. :)
I saw Graffin is cutting to the basket... Yao, pass the DAMN ball.

passed* not past.... Yao needs to take more 3's. Eddie does it. Yao could make 25% of them like EG does.

This is a real sign of maturity that Yao Ming is showing- the 3 pointer and the free throws to close out the Game. Are we getting a glimmer of our future center?

Eddie shoots 33%. Some people (not me) say that's as good as 50% 2 pointers

steve ran from the far side of the picture towards the hole, there is one worrior players was going to block his drive had he driven to the hole. So he passed the ball out to wide open Yao and momentum kept him to the near side of picture, this is why you are seeing a wide open steve. I dont think it's a good a idea to pass to Steve back because his momentum is on the oppsite direction of the hole and he is not a freaking running back.

Me too, not unless he doesnt have his seeing eye-dog with him.
Didn't Yao attempt a three earlier in the season? I am not sure who we were playing, but I remember Yao missing a three at the buzzer that could have won the game for the Rockets.

That was a Hail Mary from mid-court.

LOL, that's what I was thinking.
Only one defender on the side of the court with the ball, to cover four offensive guys! :D Is that Cat with the weakside quadruple team?
Whatever it is, run that play more!!
Yao was just showing Eddie how to shoot.
"Notice the arch, Grasshopper........" :D
Yao's previous attempt was a desperation, throw it up, off balance prayer. It was hardly a shot.

Yao wouldn't have shot the 3 if it weren't for the 3 seconds left on the 24 seconds clock...or else..he would have drive down the paint...
