Surprised there isn't one up by now... still five hours until gametime.
Personally, I think our defense is strong again, stopping Tomlinson and daring Drew Brees to beat them. While they (Chargers) may have success throwing down the field, it will likely stall in the red zone, and that is where we will have our chance to win.

Like I said elsewhere, Texans will go 9-6, the Chargers will be 1 of those 9 wins. Texans 24 - Chargers 14.
Carr will have his dart-thrower on display today boys.:D
Gaffney will impress.
Makeshift OL will not be pretty, but will keep David fairly new.(2 sacks)

I think our defense is going to win this one for us. Glenn was real close to getting several picks last week & I believe that the defense is going to hit paydirt this week. They'll score 2 touchdowns on, either interceptions or fumble recoveries, & the offense, while still struggling, will grind out 3 FG's.
Houston wins 23-10.

I'm not as optimistic as y'all this week. I see us slowing them down, but home field advantage prevails

They can't go 9-6, maybe 9-7 and lose this game.

Well, coupled with the fact that I do think San Diego will win and last weeks result after I thought that Dallas would win, I am predicting a Chargers win.
Chargers - 23
Texans - 13

Do you all seriously want the TExans to win 9 games? If they make the playoffs, don't they lose some of their picks? We can't get good too fast...Learn from the previous examples...

Raven my bad, I just looked at that sickening score you posted.
People, isn't the point of getting draft picks is to build toward a winning team? I mean I'd rather see a winning team out there than just a team saying "Atleast we'll have good draft picks". It's not like we're old, we only have 2-3 players above 30, making us one of the youngest teams in the L. Besides, with the parody in the NFL Free Agency market, and a owner who doesn't mind putting up dough, we can replace some of those picks with young , veteran free agents.

This one will likely go in the "L" collumn.

Chargers 24
I hope I'm wrong though.

Chargers are one of the league's better up-and-coming teams. They in no way compare to the ineptness of the Cowboys.

I never question anyone's love for a team, I just think that guys should have some positive outlooks. It's probably just me being me. Wanting my team to win every game.
Still! Texans 24 - Chargers 14!!

Actually, seeing the way the Cowboys are playing against he Titans, I am wondering if perhaps last weeks win had more to do with the Texans playing pretty good and less to do with the Cowgirls being a team comprised of total and utter crap.

Hmm...let me get this straight...
Titans beat the Eagles
Cowboys beat the Titans
Texans beat the Cowboys
If SD wins, they'd be the best of the 5. Man, I'm a genius. :D
(btw, I realize this doesn't mean anything. It was just a joke.)
I'd make a prediction, but its too late, especially with me seeing SD in the lead. :) I think I PROBABLY would have gone with SD in a close, low scoring game.

Well, when the Chargers beat a team the quality of the Titans, get back to me on that. I'm not a Dallas fan, but I definitely think they are better than San Diego.

Yeah, forgive me for not liking a Chargers team that defeated the Bengals and an expansion team.

Who you think is worse than a team that lost to an expansion team and beat a crappy Tennessee team. Again, please start rooting for OU.

Well, those "crappy" Titans beat a Super Bowl contender in the Eagles, so I guess the Eagles are even worse, right?

No, but you're saying a team that Houston beat is better than a team that Houston got destroyed by. Please start rooting for OU.

Have you ever heard of off weeks? Dallas didn't play as well as they could've last week. Houston didn't play as well as they could've this week.
To use your logic, Tennessee beat Philadelphia, but was defeated by Dallas. Using the same exact logic, I would conclude that Dallas was better than Philadelphia. That is what sounds like Sooner logic...

So San Diego just had two great weeks, or they were playing two crappy teams? One of which you picked to win this week. Please start rooting for OU.

Excellent job of avoiding the question... another great Sooner tactic.
San Diego just played two bad teams. There wasn't anything special about their performance today. The offense was very, very subpar, and the defense capitalized against a terrible offensive line and a rookie quarterback. Color me impressed.

Man, you guys are total homers for thinking that Houston had a real chance to win this game. The Texans may have beaten Dallas, but they definitely didn't outplay them. The Texans will be very fortunate to win 5 games this year.
