The Cat

We tried this before, but didn't get it organized in time. Dylan, his fiancee, two of her cousins, B, and myself went to the game last Monday, and had a lot of fun. However, we obviously didn't get the turnout that was originally projected in the thread. So, do you guys want to try again? I have talked to some people in chat, and the new date is Tuesday, August 6 against the Marlins. It's a 7:05 start time.
I want to do this against a team that isn't a contender for several reasons. Primarily, our game last week against the Pirates allowed us to get some awesome seats. There was a guy selling season ticket holder's seats (the ones they couldn't use) a block behind home plate. We got six seats in the sections right behind home plate for $20. (the face value is $36) They weren't all together, but we were able to move together since the crowd was small.
I think, for a lesser team, that it's better for us not to buy tickets ahead of time. If worst comes to worst, we can always buy seats together in the upper deck before the game. But, if we all meet an hour before gametime, we can meet up with the guy from the ticket agency, hopefully buy some lower level seats for below face value, and move together to an empty row once we get inside. If the crowd looks big, we can always buy upper deck seats anyway, which is about the best we could do now. (plus I don't want to spend much money) :)
If a lot of people want to go (more than 15) we may be better off having someone talk to group seating before... otherwise, I think we could all meet up that night and search for tickets. If you want to go to this game, post below... we need to get more things planned ahead of time to get a bigger turnout, imo.
