Wow - I didn't know about this game, was it on TV?

The Sparks had a 29 game home winning streak! HA HA :D

Lisa Leslie only had 7pts in 32 minutes. Great defense by Tiffani Johnson - she had 14 rebounds and 10 pts. Not bad.

Swoopes had a huge 20pts.

Did someone hit a big shot or make a big defensive play at the end?

Comets hit a bunch of FTs at the end to lead by 5. Dixon hit a trey at the buzzer to get it to 2.

Sparks led by 9 with 8 minutes left. Comets came back with big shots from Henning, Thompson and Arcain. Tiffani Johnson was huge with offensive rebounds. Lisa Leslie hit some tough fadeaways but played soft (1 rebound).

Crappy shooting from everyone. Comets shot 32%. Sheryl was 3 for 20 from the field (14-15 from the line). Tina was 4-12. Janeth 3-10. Sparks were 39%. Leslie was 3 for 9. Dixon 4 for 15. Mabika 8 for 21.

Was hoping Snow would be able to dunk so they couldn't show that damn doughnut commerical anymore.

what do you comet fans think about the Henning for Lassiter trade now? switching washington & henning at the point has proven to work pretty good so far.

Great win!after a terrible traveling call on Swoopes that wiped out a potential three point play ,L.A. went on a run and lead by nine. The Comets regrouped and outscored them 21 to 7 over the last 8 minutes .

Right now the trade looks great. Co and Sonja have made an effective team at the point, the team is playing well, and who can argue with ending the Sparks 2 year home court winning streak? I love beating Loser and the Sparks - anytime. :D :cool: :p

Evaluating the trade, however, is more than a one year proposition. At the end of the year, Sonja will still be almost 11 years older than Amanda.

Well seeing how Lassie is playing for Seattle as a starter I don't think we're missing out on too much.

Washington/Henning can be like Smith/Cassell.
Henning should always be there in the 4th quarter.
