On an 0-2 pitch to boot.
Also, the Astros tied a major league record - 0 Left On Base.

Angel Hernandez is known around the league as probably the worst Ball/Strike umpire in the Major Leagues.

Why was Cruz pitching so early? Who was scheduled to start?

Cruz was an emergency starter today for the injured Carlos Hernandez (no relation to Angel the Ump)
Carlos Hernandez will miss Thursday's start against Arizona with a stiff shoulder. ``I just found out about the problem today and we don't know how severe it is,'' Astros manager Jimy Williams said.
I just knew he was going to hit a grandslam to win it.....Kim is a great closer but when his confidence fails him, it's all over.

You could say that Gregg was in the "Zaun".
OK, I know that was bad.
