Seeing that I also started the KJ retirement post, it looks like I've got some kind of fixation on endings, doesn't it?

Juan,

I just heard the story moments ago and I have to say I was in sheer shock.

They are saying they found the 63 year old body and believe it was due to cardiac arrest.

Utter tragedy.

I just can't believe this...the guy still seemed so young and healthy.
Read about it on <A HREF="http://espn.go.com/nba/news/1999/1012/110493.html">ESPN.</A>

The guy looked like he could still dunk on half of the center in the NBA. This is a VERY sad day for the NBA.

Wow, I can't believe it.

The most dominating center in his era. So many amazing records. So much history....

I am not among the majority who feel he was the greatest center of all-times. But, I will never argue that he dominated the competition he played against more convincingly than any player before or since, and most likely ever.

I'll miss watching his interviews and hearing him talk about how great he was. (seriously, I liked his confidence)

I couldn't believe he was 63, he didn't look it.

Wilt Chamberlain was before my time, so I never grew up watching up him, but I wish i had. Imagine seeing one of the three greatest players of all time (jordan, magic) scoring all those points night after n ight.

So goodbye Will, a legend, who had more class than some of the punks who play ball today (not that I'm mentioning scottie pippen's name.)
