The NBA has turned into figure skating. It's all a judgement call depending on who has what jersey on.

Everyone knows that the officiating can never be totally equal in every game. Of course throughout the series the officiating probably swung slightly to favor one team or the other, whether it was intentional or not.

Game 6 is the problem. This one game stands apart from any playoff game in recent history as extremely lopsided. I don't have a problem with the rest of the series, even Walker's 3-pointer in game 4. Just game 6.

I'm sure you could find some articles by Blinebury (Houston columnist) that provided an anti-Rocket viewpoint (actually it would be harder to find one that DIDN'T). That doesn't really mean anything.

It's more like some people are brushing off any sense of reason and holding in their denial of some great conspiracy.

I think Shaq makes life very difficult for the officials

on one hand, he plows over defenders and nothing is called

but then he's hacked and nothing is called

often, when officals want control of the game, they start to call everything

I think the officials, having to hop that line, just screwed up
and took the Lakers momentum too far

a mistake, and it cost the Kings
but that's life, and for their part, the Lakers weren't blowing the whistles, just running over people and being aggressive

Yeah, kind of like every sports writer in the country has on their favorite NBA jersey while they try to sell newspapers. :rolleyes: Why don't you go read my posts before you accuse me of proposing some great conspiracy. Then you won't look quite so ignorant.
