View Full Version : M0bley or Mobley?
I was sitting close enough to make out something pretty strange last week against the Nuggets - Mobleys Home uniform has his name spelt with a zero, not an "o",
M "zero" b l e y.
You can tell because it has the slanted cross through the letter, and Olajuwan's or Thomas's doesn't.
Bizarre huh? Something else bizarre - Walt Williams played pretty good D last night against Miami.

I never noticed that. I will keep an eye on it tomorrow.

perhaps the slash is part of the pajama pin stripe. I noticed "Drew" looks like "Brew".

I actually have one of Cuttino's old jerseys - it has a "O," not a "0".

What's with you Jenna - sitting courtside, having one of Cuttino's old Jerseys. You're a real "insider". http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/smile.gif
For the record,it definitely wasn't a pinstripe - I was close enough to distinguish that.

I've noticed that Mobley has a zero in place of the "o", as well. I think it is just silly. Here's another question in that regard. Can anyone tell me why the Rockets pinstripes don't stay straight all the way down? It just looks so retarded, the way that they break up a couple of times on the jersey, like the team couldn't afford to put the jerseys together properly. Anyway, if anyone knows the reason, let me know.

The broken pinstripes is supposed to represent the "afterburn" of the Rocketship taking off. That's what I heard last year.
