HOUSTON (AP) _ The Houston Texans have signed tight end Jake Moreland, the team said Tuesday.
Moreland, entering his third season, initially signed with the New York Jets as a free agent in 2000 and played seven games. The Jets waived him Dec. 6 and he signed with Cleveland, where he played four games.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The signing brings the Texans' roster to 61 players
