Thanks...not that I don't mind the pics, but I can see that stuff other places. Like someone else noted, I have to be careful what sites I visit while at work, so I had to jump around in the hangout...I didn't like that!

Damnit, why can't you guys do things in moderation? One thread of hot chicks turned into 15 hot chick threads in a week! Now look what you have gone and done!

I believe that's just the nature of the BBS Drew, I remember a couple weeks back all we had were "Best/Worst" threads about music.

Then we had a bunch of race related threads.

Now we have T&A threads...

I like the direction the bbs hangout is going...;)

I'm A-Train, and I'll leave you with what we all came here to see: hardcore nudity!

If this is true, then good move...

I like the move, but still ...

R.I.P. cool BGM pic posts.

Is it only for the hangout or all forums? I assume just the hangout. And hopefully not permanately(sp? too lazy to check :) )

There is a caption thread in the NBA Dish forum, so I dont think its for all forums.

I am kinda glad Clutch did it. I sometimes log on from school. And I dont want anyone accusing me of accesing porn in school.

man... tell me about it 03... our surfing is monitored by websense.com and I was starting to send hits to the server because of "inappropriate material" I mean, the chicks weren't nude but it was where they were linked from that raised a flag....

oh well, maybe I'll be able to post a pic in the hangout soon...

Clutch,

I apologize for my part in getting images banned. A good solution, I think, would be to simply ban users who post pics like that from now on. Turn the images back on, but with this threat, and it won't happen again.

Actually, I don't think it will happen again regardless since the majority of the people doing it are normal posters that would simply stop with you asking it not to happen again.

People posted naked pics and I missed it. :(

Seriously, I always thought it was great to be able to post and see pics in the threads - e.g., some caption contests, some funny and interesting pics by rockHEAD, etc. It would be a shame if that would stay turned off permanently just because some people went overboard.

Please turn it back on again soon.

I agree with some of the views stated above. I too go to this site from school a lot and dont want to get in trouble for pulling up images of half naked chics. But as Det said it is nice to have the caption games and some pics in posts are good. I think it would be a better idea to make a policy that says no posting of pictures of naked/partially clothed women and then if somebody does ban them for 5 days a week and then if they do it again, bye bye for good. Or something along those lines because it is nice to have some images posted even if they cant be of hot women.

I'm glad a lot of you like the idea b/c I figured the backlash would be pretty big. I really didn't care though because the Hangout was becoming the 90% naked chicks forum and I couldn't click on many threads without seeing one of those photos. Usually I don't care. Though it's embarrassing at work, I usually scroll down fast, but one time there were so many I couldn't scroll down fast enough.

Also the issue about employees or schools tracking where you are going is important also.

But once this new chicks tournament came out, I knew there was no hope for this getting any better anytime soon :)

Maybe later we can turn it back on, but for now you can still use the IMG tag to create a direct link to the photo.

Crisco -- yeah, only in the hangout.

Rocketman95 -- you know if I started banning people for posting those pics I'd open a much bigger can of worms.... maybe later though. For now I want people to get used to the idea they can't (like letting all the IMG posters sober up sort of speak) then maybe later turn it back on with clearer rules.
