How many of you guys have been lurking for years but have small post counts? Personally, this site has been part of my everyday life since before Scotty Pip was rumored to be traded here. I was searching the net for some info on it and came across this site. It's been in the favorites at home and work ever since. Most of my time was spent in the Rosters and Game Action Forum but never posted because someone always seemed to make my point. I only started visiting the Hangout forum after the 9/11 attacks. It's very interesting to see that a sports related BBS has such an intellegent group of posters that discuss such a diverse group of topics.
Anyway, I'm pretty much a lurker, but when I'm bored I'll start a stupid thread like this one. ;)

I fit in this category. I have actually been visiting this site since '96. I was looking for a Rockets site after I moved to Austin in '96. I would always lurk in the bbs till '99 or whatever it says by my name, but i still rarely post.

I was a lurker for a couple of years before I registered for the BBS, and even though I may have more posts than the 2 above me, about 90 % come in the fantasy forum with 3 Sim Leagues, and other Fantasy Leagues. I rarely ever post in the NBA or Rockets Forums, although I do visit them every day. The other 10 % or so come in the Hangout.

I've been visiting since about 97 or 98. Joined up in 01 (almost exactly one year ago). And I've never regreted it for one second!!!

I think I fit this category. I actually have been around since 1998. I usually check in about 2-3 times a day. It's just a part of my "internet routine". Since people are so argumentative on the 'net (not just here, but on most sites), I never post much.

This, by nature, is a thread doomed to few responses.

I think I may have invented lurking - I was here when we still had Cassell & Horry. Used to when there weren't that many people posting, I would post like 'nutty' ;) but now there are too many posts to read in a day, so I don't bother to write.

Yes exactly these two I have been missing...but AntiSonic did post in another thread today, I think.
I never lurk. I've dazzled this board with my wits since '99 .... did I mention that I fantasize a lot?

What about IROCit? I remember that dude had over 1,000 posts in like 2 days.
Me thinks crispee has turned into a lurker as well.
