    8. Cable Guy
    9.Meet The parents
    10. Friday
    11. Austin Powers man of mystery

Your decade is one-and-a-half times too long; I think us late X-ers are finally in mid-life denial. I think hearing Ace Ventura, Dumb and Dumber and Sandler references every three seconds in college killed me off of comedies by '98 or so. Meet the Parents was funny enough but it morphed into Jackass for middle-aged people and I think gave that whole Farrelly Brothers sub-genre some new legs. And I swear to god Wedding Crashers is the plot of some old beer commercial from the early '90s.

Office Space and Super Troopers didn't make your list and Ace Ventura/Harold and Kumar did. I'm leaving this thread and not coming back.

I thought Talladega Nights is an underrated comedy of recent time.

In that time frame I'd probably go with:

    Dumb and Dumber
    Something About Mary
    Billy Madison
    Happy Gilmore
    Ace Ventura
    Meet the Parents
    Austin Powers 2
    Anchorman
    South Park
    Home Alone
    Tommy Boy
    American Pie 2

    Plus...
    Wedding Singer
    Office Space
    Talladega Nights
    40 Year Old Virgin
    Beavis and Butthead Do America
    Nacho Libre
    Wayne's World (1&2)
    Dodgeball
    Rush Hour (1&2)
    Shaun of the Dead
    Hot Fuzz
    Rushmore

Classic but they came out in the 80s bro.

I didn't get into Apatow until Knocked up, good list/ Beavis and Butthead movie was funny. Shaun dead was a classic film but I'm not sure if it was belly laughed out loud for me.

    I can't believe a CMD-F (yes, Mac!) for "Hangover" yielded 0 results.
