The purpose of driving with headlights on this day will: 1). Show our respect, friendship, and tribute to all of those individuals who lost their lives on that dreadful September 11, 2001 day. 2). Well little kid obviously you dont know that when your car is running having your headlights on does not use your battery. duh.
Umm, hoping you are joking? An Alternator It creates the juice for your car while it is on. It is connected via a belt to the engine, which creates current. Sucks when the Alternator goes out!!! Have to buy a new battery most of the time... Turn your lights on.
Yea what Wink said. Just the way turning on the radio only waists battery when the car is not running but when the car is running it actually recharges the battery. Ever wonder why somebody can drive with their headlights on for hours every night but if they go to work and leave them on for a few hours their battery goes dead? yea its the same thing.
