So does anyone know the probables then???

Tuesday - Wade "The Stud" Miller

Wednesday - Shane Reynolds

Friday - Roy "R.O.Y." Oswalt (hopefully)

Game 4 - **if necessary** - Milicki? Miller again?

I heard the announcers saying that we may go with a 10 man pitching staff, most teams go with 8, maybe 9 in the playoffs.

1. Miller
2. Reynolds
3. Oswalt
4. Milicki
5. Dotel
6. Wagner
7. Mike Jackson
8. Mike Williams?
9. Nelson Cruz?
10. ???

You're leaving out Villone. Gerry and Larry want to have that extra lefty in the pen to bring in to face the tough left-handed hitter in a crucial situation. Villone really didn't pitch all that badly on Saturday. He truly was left out there too long and then it all fell apart. Hopefully he can be more effective out of the pen. He will probably only be expected to get one hitter out in any appearance anyway.

I agree with you about Villone - he wasn't that bad for the first 3-4 innings, just bad defense.

He would be ok out of the pen.

Hot off of www.astros.com

Houston-Atlanta pitching probables:
Tuesday at Houston: RHP Wade Miller vs. RHP Greg Maddux
Wednesday at Houston: RHP Dave Mlicki vs. LHP Tom Glavine
Friday at Atlanta: RHP Shane Reynolds vs. RHP John Burkett

Man, Behad actually knows what he is talking about :D

I do not see Oswalt on there... Hopefully he has a good workout today and gets to start game 3 or 4.

Game 1 and 3 look favorable - Game 2 will be tough but winnable.

Man, do I have you fooled!!:D

Oswalt won't start till game four, if necessary. That way, Reynolds can start game 3 on his regular 4 days rest. Oswalt would get another day of rest. However, best case scenario, we sweep three games. That way, you can rest Oswalt till Game 1 of the NLCS on Tuesday, and then set your rotation anyway you like after that.

Thank God they did. I told getttingliebered that I would kiss his blue and red @$$ if they didn't. Where is he anyway? He was pretty boisterous when the Cubs were leading.

Mlicki scares me. He is unpredictable..though he has been ON of late. I hope he does well in the playoffs. His solid play would give up a great boost.

Mlicki's last two starts: 8.2 innings, 12 runs, 4 HR's, 17 baserunners.

I wouldn't call that on of late.

Yeah he is too shaky.

If he can give us 4-5 innings with 3 runs or less we will be in great shape.

I think we win games 1,3,4 possibly a sweep.
