was listening to a comedian today talk about how he watched the old school sunny d commercials where the kid shoves aside the "purple stuff". made me think of how old i was when i used to drink it and got me down nostalgia lane.

i remembered around this time (4th or 5th grade?), i was good friends with this ghetto indian girl. she and i sat at the same table and she always used to pick on me because she knew i wasnt going to hit her, but she was also really nice to me sometimes also. anyway, she knew i had a crush on this girl named jennifer cuz i told her about it, so one day she pulls me over and whispers to me "doesnt jennifer walk like she been *****ed in the ass a few times?"

i honestly had no clue what that meant but i didnt wanna look like a loser so i said "yeah". looking back now, it really makes me wonder how the hell a 9 year old girl can even say something like that and just what kinda family life she was exposed to make that kind of observation. but for me thats the first time i remember someone saying a curse word to me in that manner.

so what was your first time that someone exposed your innocent ears?

Don't remember that, but when I was in second grade, I inadvertantly pointed with my middle finger while the teacher was out of the room. Some kid said he was going to tell the teacher I 'shot the bird'. I had absolutely no clue what he was talking about.

lol u gotta wonder why a 7 year old even knows that term. my sister tells my niece to not use the middle finger to point because its not nice.

I think I was the kid others heard curses from, then they would be all like:

in my opinion whether or not a child curses is not representative of his/her home life

1st grade, I heard 5th or 6th grader curse at a teacher.

Though, the first time I heard a curse word I had to be in a crib, because my father has the most foul mouth in Georgia.

I grew up in the burbs. And I'd heard most of the popular cuss words by the time I was 6 or 7. Neither of my parents cussed much either. Almost everyone my age was cussing up a storm in early elementary school. Or earlier.

My ex-girlfriend had an 8 year old kid when we I started seeing her. Shortly thereafter, we overheard him and his friends cussing like sailors too.

I certainly didn't know what everything meant when I was in first grade, but I heard cuss words every day at school and after school playing with friends every day.

I guess I was a bad little ****er. I remember one time in kindergarten on the bus home from school, a kid wrote "ass" on the window with his finger using the defrost. What did I do? I, for some reason, wrote, "ass" in pink fingernail polish on the outside of my parent's bedroom door. Little did I know...

There's a difference between "hearing your first cuss word," and hearing a comment having to do with sex. Heck, I heard my first cuss word at home from my father, who was a sailor in WWII, probably when he missed a nail and hit a thumb hanging a picture, or when I broke something around the house. And I have no idea when that was, my age, or anything like that. As I said, Dad could cuss like a sailor. Just because he became a department chair at a major Houston university, didn't mean that he forgot where he came from.

I was in honors/GT classes from third grade on, so I think being around the same kids who were already somewhat well-behaved, and with the same teacher for all subjects, might have reduced the risk of cursing then. The only thing that stuck out was an incident that I was reminded of in an epsiode of Louie.

Our 4th grade teacher was showing us different kinds of nuts for some reason; she pulled out a specific one, and the kid sitting right next to me raised his hand and said that his uncle called them "****** toes." Our teacher didn't freak out or anything, but said that the kid owed an apology specifically to me. He did and I shrugged my shoulders (he was enough of an "ally" in social settings), and that was the end of it. We ended up having some classes together again in high school and are Facebook friends now, I've never mentioned and would never think to mention the incident to him.

I was in Social Studies class in sixth grade and some kid asked me over and over the first few days if I gave good head.

"Heads of lettuce?"

"If it's good, yes, if it's bad, then no."

That was the same time someone called me an oreo, which apparently saved me from three years of getting asked for blowjobs.

The first curse words I heard were in Arabic from my grandfather, who used to call me his "little ****."

The first english curse word I discovered was "F$CK" written under a bridge in Cleveland, Ohio. When I got back to my grandmother's house I said "Hey Nana, what does F$ck mean?!" It was Thanksgiving and so there was like 25 people at the house, there was a collective gasp.

Then in like 4th grade I thought curse words were cool so at recess I would walk behind the swings with a friend and talk ish with a lot of curse words to "impress" a girl I liked.

What a tool.

My only year in HISD, 2nd grade. There was one white kid. Me. Lots of cussing, and after a while, I started the fights.

Playing house when I was 4, I told my "wife", bitch I'm home, now make me some dinner. Certainly did not get that from my father. The soap wasn't as bad as I imagined.

Not in school, but a Mexican kid moved in across the street from me when I was around 10 or so. I asked him some curse words, he told me "tu eres joto" and chinga (sp?).

lol, I remember watching the Transformers animated movie where Ultra Magnus says "dammit" while trying to open the matrix. My friend and I rewound that part so many times. I bought it on DVD a few years ago and there's a part where Spike says "sh--" I don't remember that being on the original movie at all.
