McHale has got to stop playing small up front. It would be advantageous to play Sammy or Camby at the 5 more then we are.

I dont care if we go small at the wing with Lee playing 3 next to Lowry and Dragic. But we cant sacrifice size up front. We could afford to go small up front when we had HAYES but NOT WITH SCOLA.

For this game I wanna see Patterson on Scola as much as possible.

This will be a very interesting matchup. We are at home. And Dallas just got thumped by SA last night. I expect us to come out fresh and fighting and Dallas to be suffering from dead legs somewhat.

However, the more interesting aspect of the game for me will be seeing how Dragic deals with the zone. Dragic has been great but the one aspect of his game that concerns me is he plays on the edge of being out of control. If he tries to split the zone repeatedly, I'm afraid his turnovers are going to go up close to double digits and we'll have a hard time winning the game. I want to see how wisely Dragic handles this game.

Dirk has always been frustrated by a strong small forward guarding him. Van Gundy first exploited this in Dirk when he put McGrady on him face-guarding Dirk and forcing Dirk to put the ball on the floor where a second perimeter defender attacked his dribble, forcing him to throw up a crap shot or to hold up the dribble and have to pass out.

McHale should already know this and have Parsons and Lee/Dragic ready to go. I full expect to see a lot of Goran/Lee/Budinger/Parsons on the floor together tonight.
