Sept., 5, 2001 - Houston Rockets forward Maurice Taylor underwent successful surgery today to repair a torn right Achilles tendon. Rockets general manager Carroll Dawson said Taylor is expected to be out of action 10-12 months, which means he will miss the entire 2001-2002 season.

...word has it the Rockets are talking with Anthony Mason's agent late yesterday. Details and a direction for replacing him has not been determined. There are several players left on the market, namely Golden Stat's Marc Jackson. the Rockets may do Jackson's a favor and tender him an offer, simply to see if Golden State will match it.

med exception, Moochie, Jackson and Mason would be nice on the heals of this bad news :cool:
