Take the responsibility for poorly phrasing your post. All you had to say was "I am privy to the occasional scoop and I have a rock solid source telling me that ..."

You can't blame people for disrespecting you when you just say "I have a prediction.."

You are welcome to share, but you have to give people reason to beleive. Read around the board. You will see that noone just says "I have a prediction..." they say "I have a source saying that ..."

Its about protocol. Say what you mean.

He also said that there would be a press conference at 10:00am tomorrow morning. Rich asked him to identify himself and he abruptly hung up. So you can basically take this with a grain of salt, but there are guys out there who at least think they know something is happening tomorrow.

no apologies necessary. i just think that some people take this business a bit too seriously. as far as posting it wrong, is there such a thing? i gave a prediction, albeit an educated one, but to vote on deleting this post staggered me. are we really arguing semantics on something as casual as this? this was my first post, but i have been an avid reader and fan of this page so i know the protocol (or lack thereof). this was just the first time i felt like sharing info. i hope in the future i may share more info as i get it without everyone piling on (and almost everybody but a noble few did). my info will not be inspired by bskball.com or nbatalk, but on what is presented to me.

Yesterday, in my "Everbody Chill" thread I commented on how the quality of posts were really bad recently. Well here is yet more proof. I just don't think personal attacks have a place in a legitemate public forum. And even though Clutch rocks, I remember back like a year and a half ago I thought of Clutch as a basketball genius. That's because he rarely posted and when he did he always had something really interesting to say. Now it seems like he's just another guy who makes a lot of judgements and mistakes. Clutch still rocks though.
Props to B-Ball Freak for the early call; you pulled a Popeye.

(ever since that turnover against the Lakers). The crap Pip has done this summer has simply reinforced feelings already there. my source is not in the inner circle but he gets the occasional tidbit.
