Every since the transition, when I go to a new forum or make a post and return to the forum, my browser will say "done" but the screne will remain blank.
This happend rarely with the old bbs, but is qiute frequent now... almost every time.
It's not too much of a problem: I just have to hit reload, but I thought I'd still let you guys know.
Overall, I love it!

I am going to make some assumptions here, and others likely know more about HTML rendering in the real world than I do.
This bbs is pushing more data at your browser, and it is building tables with heavy browser calculations. This HTML is using < td nowrap > heavily with percentage based column sizes. Your browser has to do some calculations based on your monitor and subsequent font sizes.
How much RAM and CPU power do you have on that computer?
I suggest this for troubleshooting the problem. Set your monitor to standard resolution for its size (13' = 640:480, 15' = 800:600, 17' = 1024:768). Set your browser font to default font and font size. Reboot your machine and test it with no other applications running. I'm guessing that the browser will work less if you don't make it calculate no wrapping with odd resolutions and font types/sizes.
Also, test it with your browser maximized.
I do believe this is a browser/hardware issue for you, based on this site requiring your browser to do more layout calculations on your machine.
What other sites do you frequent? Do you go to any that have this type of page drawing that we see here that shuffles as it draws?? Does anyone else go a site like this?

crispee:
I'm running a P3-600 with 128 megs of ram.
The only other sites I regularly frequent would be espn.com, cnn.com, slate.com, ontheroad.bc.edu, yahoo chess (java plug in), theonion.com, amazon.com and google. I haven't noticed this frequently with any of these.
Lots of miscellaneous crap, of course.
It's no big deal. Only takes a refresh... thanks for thinking about it.
Oh, and I usually run in 1024x768 or 800x600, depending on what programs I've been running.

haven -- thanks for letting us know. What browser are you using? IE or Netscape?
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Hey clutch(or anyone),I emailed you this but got no response so I decided to post it here...
About 30 minutes ago (This was last night) I posted a thread in the rockets 2002 forum(I'm sure I did,I saw the post,I'm not crazy),but then, when I came back to see if someone replied I couldnt find it.I even used the search option and nothing so what happened?I dont think it said something wrong or anything to delete it,could it be a problem with the new board??
