You don't need to be talented to get fame and attention, strange how people havn't recognized this yet. He's won the hearts of teenage America, that's all that matters, it means $$$ for everyone involved. It's not like Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift are extremely talented, they just sell, why wouldn't the music industry take advantage of them? Don't hate, appreciate.

Unlike the Academy Awards (and even that can be suspect), the Grammy awards rarely get it right. They may get the Album of the Year right about 2% of the time. And other categories, too.

Case in Point: New Artist of the Year for 1978:

Winner: Taste of Honey.
