Just thought I'd pass this along to you, since Shaq and Kobe are involved:
Los Angeles Lakers -- The schedule won't get any easier than it is in January for the Lakers, who play just 12 games this month -- seven at home -- after playing 16 apiece in November and December.
The first two months included just one three-day break between games. This month, the Lakers will enjoy a trio of three-day breaks and one four-day respite.
In the 12-day span from Dec. 31 to Jan. 11, the Lakers play just two games, both at home.
