My (future) brother-in-law is in the marines, and was shipped off to Afghanistan this month. He is a die-hard Texas A&M Aggie fan, and is wanting copies of the Aggie-OU and Aggie-Tech football games on DVD so he can watch them on his computer. If anyone here is able to help me out with this, I would greatly appreciate it. I am trying to contact the athletic department to see if they can assist as well, but I am hoping to send it to him within the next week so he can get it before Christmas.
I am not familiar with all the torrent download stuff, but tried finding some, and wasn't successful. Mods-feel free to lock this up if causes any legal issues...
Feel free to email me at my username at gmail.
Thanks

Have you checked on the torrent-sharing sites? Also, do you need highlights or whole games from this year only? :o
I would say that if he wants to have them, honestly wants to watch them because he can't in Afghanistan, send a message to the A&M Athletics department. Since he's doing something for the US that's noble enough, they won't say NO to a copy. Good luck, sir.

I checked briefly on the torrent-sites, but not sure which one is best to use.
He has asked for the (2) full games against OU and Texas Tech.

I found a torrent on this website:
http://tenyardtracker.com/
You have to create an account to view the available games. Once you have an account created you can browse for the A&M game (on the second page.) or you can click this link below:

edit briefly looked for the A&M - Tech game but didn't see it.

Since the Aggies are big on support the troops types of activites, you should try contacting their Athletic department directly to see if they can provide the DVDs.

Ya they'll probably do it. Hell they'd probably schedule a 1-1 series with VT in Afghanistan or something.

The call probably goes to some student worker who will probably just delete the message. I'd probably just delete it. Might wanna send an email too or somn.

Is there anyway to record it directly off a flash player that streams a game online?
The tech game is online from the aggies website, but I am not sure the best program to try and "rip" it. Tried running video cacheview...
