she is awesome and so is tina but i think the comets still need a 3rd scorer to beat the Sparks and it looks like Polina's not showing up this year.

I agree outlaw, the Comets need a 3rd scorer to take the pressure off Arcain and Thompson. But it's still early in the season, and I'm hoping that Lassiter will start growing into the role of 3rd scorer.

Well, that is my signature on the other boards I moderate, but I haven't figured out how to do that here, yet. I'm still new to this board. It's different on all of them, though they use the same basic format.

As for the Comets - they have a big test on Sunday with the Mercury and then on Monday, playing the Sparks. I agree that they need another scorer - Tina and Janeth can only carry them so far. They can certainly beat the lower teams, though.

i think Stafford-Odom should replace Lassiter in the starting line up until she proves she can handle it on a night to night basis. i don't know if she fits the bill as a 3rd scorer perse, but i think her "presense" with defense, rebounding would take the pressure off Tina and Janeth and open there games up a bit.
