This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I am playing it on my authentic USB NES controller and it is incredible.

I feel like I have found something I have been searching my whole life for.

samus eats the fire, flower takes off her power suit and plays in her "classic suit" shootin a wavy beam that destroys everything- but cant break bricks with her head...classic metroid music in the sewer....... this is like a wierd paradox.... amazing

If anyone can manage to get through this game playing as Simon Belmont, then my hat is off to you and I will bow down to your mastery. I find his jump mechanics make him nearly impossible to control in this game.

I find Samus the easiest to control by far. In fact, I would rank all characters' playability like this:

1. Samus
2. Scorpion (Contra guy... not sure why the game refers to him as "Bill")
3. Mega Man (he does not play true to the original, though... his jumps are higher than they should be)
4. Link
5. Mario
6. Simon Belmont
