You know those movies that send chills throughout your whole body. I consider those types of movies as the best. My personal favorites are:
We Are Marshall
Miracle
Hoosiers
The Pistol
Rudy
Along with listing your favorites, list the moments in those movies that sent the chills down your back. Like this:
We Are Marshall - The whole movie sent chills down my back. Great Movie.
Miracle - Beating the Soviets, and Herb Brooks Speech. "USA, USA, USA"
Hoosiers - Norman Dale's speech at the end.
The Pistol - Press Maravich's speeches to young Pete, and the storyline.
Rudy - When the stadium starts to chant "Rudy, Rudy, Rudy"
I watched We Are Marshall just a moment ago, and let me tell you, that movie might of sent the most chills down my back as anything ever has before.

We Are Marshall always makes me tear up.
When the player with the shoulder injury gets practically the entire town outside the meeting to chant "we are... MARSHALL" is ridiculous.
But it's taken me a while to watch Invincible with Marky Mark... i found that to be an inspirational story as well.

I'd put the Blind Side in here also.

I thought the Blindside was pretty bad too, I also forgot to mention that I did not like We are Marshall either. There are very few sports movies that are actually good. The only somewhat recent one that is actually good imo is Remember the Titans

We Are Marshall may be an excellent screen play.
But having this turd in it really made it hard for me to take it seriously.

Agreed, that part alone just made me absoultely unable to move. "No sir, I ain't got nothing to say, but they do." By far one of the most inspiring moments in movie history.
I forgot to throw in there Invincible, Field of Dreams, and Remember the Titans, I knew I was forgetting some, so I just left it up to yall to make me remember.

The Natural (1984)

Few people have heard of/seen this but the ending and just the portrayal of baseball in general is almost like a fairy-tale. Highly recommend.

The cinematography, the score, the time period, and more make this a classic.

Robert De Niro is phenomenal. From the B&W foggy intro set to opera music to the mirror scene ending, a great movie. I like this better than "Rocky" which itself is a legendary boxing movie.

Rudy, especially the scene when he leads ND on to the field as his tens of thousands watch from the stands of Notre Dame Stadium. He achieved his ultimate goal of dressing for the Fighting Irish, and his family and all of his peers, who doubted him along the way, were able to witness the result of his dedication and hard work.

Rudy is not that inspirational if you think about it. Sure, he got to play in the last seconds of a game but that's the moment or dream he had been looking for all his life? 5 seconds of fame? Then what? Do mediocre in college and then get an average job that he would work for the rest of his life? What's the message the movie is trying to send besides "work hard and your dream will come true"? To not prioritize what is important because you really wanted to play 5 seconds of football?

I wouldn't call these inspirational but I did enjoy watching it.
A League of Their Own
Hoosiers...Our gym teacher made us watch it back in High School. Thought it was awe inspiring back then. Recently saw it and thought it was pretty mediocre or totally lame.

I don't understand how anyone could get awe inspiring from watching or listening to that POS of an actor Matthew McConaughey?
