View Full Version : Lawrence on Stromile Swift, Darius Miles

This from Mitch Lawrence in his ESPN subscription column... lets hope he's right on Swift:
"Although he's told LSU people he's coming back, NBA scouts say Stromile Swift will still opt for early eligibility. Swift's announcement that he's staying was seen as a way to keep the Tigers' boosters at bay. Why stay anyway, when you're a lock to go in the top five? Prep stars Darius Miles and Gerald Wallace also reportedly are coming out. Miles was the top player in the McDonald's All-Star Game, wowing scouts with his athleticism and length and quickness. Already, he's being compared to Kevin Garnett, which is a major reach."

moiso needs to stay in school. in fact the entire UCLA frontcourt should. they all need another year to develop.

If Swift does come out, he would be a top four pick! I would not even be surprised if he went before Fizer. You just gotta know that he is receiving major pressure from would-be agents to chance his mind.

He is skinny, but since this picture the kid has gained almost 30 lbs. He is going to get bigger and better, I would love to get the guy if we had our pick at 6 and another around 10 (he may be gone by then though).

Grummet,
I watched a couple of high school all-star games over the past 2 or 3 weeks. That picture makes him look much skinnier than he appeared in those games. He definitely is skinny, but that pic makes him look anorexic. His body (and game) reminds me a lot of Kevin Garnett. I hope he has even 75% of KG's ability when he joins the Rockets... http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/wink.gif
