Are We Guaranteed Detroit's Pick?

I've heard that we will have our lottery pick and then we will have Detroit's first round pick. How did we get this pick and is there a 100% chance we're getting it?

we got the pick I believe, via Philadelphia when we traded Mirsad Turksan to them (who they traded to New York for a conditional first rounder as well) I *think* they got it via the Jerry Stackhouse trade, but that I'm not certain.

The pick is for this year or next year. I'd say we'll get this pick if Detroit makes the playoffs, because this offseason, Detroit has to attempt to resign Grant Hill, and if they don't give it to us this year, they'd be a pretty sure bet lottery team next year, if they didn't resign Hill.
