NNNOOOOOO!!!!
Leave the team thre way it is.
They are young, let them grow.
We dont need another superstar hogging Steve's glory.
All those guys are old ballhogs. Maybe I would trade Hakeem for them all.

If you don't want Tim Duncan on our team you've been eating Crisco.

you see, i would LOVE to get Duncan or Hill, but u know if we did end up getting any two of those four players it would most likely end up in losing steve francis when his contract runs out. because steve is a young talented scorer, and i dont think he would want to be a second option on the team, he would just end up leaving for a team who will give him the number one option. i would love to see duncan or hill or jones or grant to come here, but is it worth losing francis? probly, but u make the call!!

the thrust of that argument implies that Stevie would rather shoot first, pass second... funny- he prides himself on getting guys involved over his obviously copious scoring talent. Unless you think he'll pull an AI and slide to the 2 so he can without question be THE MAN, it escapes me why having a mobile post presence (Duncan) or a practically unguardable wing guy (Hill) would bruise his young ego. Let's face it- he takes a lot more shots b/c we're not the only ones lacking faith in Cato/Rogers. Those guys have boards for hands and expecting a couple bench guys to execute like GOOD players is asking a bit much.

You guys have Steve mixed up with Stephon Marbury. Steve will get his shots with out a problem. No championship is on by one guy taking all the shots. Tim Duncan is not leaving SA after they just voted to build him a new area, and they would be insane not to pay this guy. I don't feel that EJ is leaving his team either. He seems happy there. Hill on the other hand may be possible depending on how unhappy he is in Detroit. Maybe his father, who coached for the Cowboys, can sell him on Texas. Hill is a triple double waiting to happen! I would also like to see Brian Grant here. With Wallace so dominate Grant will not get the minutes he deserves. He would also be a great fit on this young team. Plus he is a great guy in the community.
bottome line.......My vote is for Hill!
