Good question; Memphis is actually geographically right in the cusp of the two conferences. Last time I checked, Memphis was on the westernmost edge of Tennessee, along the Arkansas border off the Mississippi. Its west of both Chicago and Milwaukee -- which are the East's westernmost cities -- while it is east of Minneapolis -- the West's easternmost locale. So technically, Memphis could geographically fall into either conference. But all that is mooot, because from what I hear, it will stay in the MidWest division with the Rockets. Memphis is a much better fit in the Midwest Division than Vancouver. It doesn't look like the NBA is planning to realign. Charlotte should not be in the Central Division. ------------------ Dream On!
