Damn I miss the good old games. Everything was so simple...lol

Anyway...does anyone remember that street ball game where if you make a couple of shots you are on fire and ball is lit, you can burn the net and all. You could like jump above the back board...can't remember the name of the game. I used to love it.

there were some bad blood between those sixers team and celtics team, it's up there with the Jordan Bulls and the Detroit Badboys

barkley in his rookie year i think, still was a fatass

I wish the league was a bit dirtier and tougher like before. In hockey, a fight is a 5 minute penalty...in the NBA, a fullblown fight like that would probably result in a season ending suspension.

Akeem could fight back in the day too. I remember nobody liked to mess with him, especially the Sonics. I read that Olden Polynice told someone "Whatever you do,..don't challenge Dream to fight,...cause he'll fight you". He literally used to go around picking fights,..it was hilarious. He was the only Star/Enforcer in the league. The consummate hybrid.

that's what's missing in today's game, rivalry...it pisses me off like you wouldn't believe that all of these players are best friends on and off the court and try to get real buddy buddy with each other.

No. Fighting isn't good for the sport, it can have bad outcomes, especially in the NBA where there is no wall between fans and the players.

its too bad it wasnt danny ainge that they had in a headlock instead of bird. would have loved to see him getting his face pummeled...
