A bit like comparing Wilt and Dream, different eras and styles, we don't have as much live video of Corelli, still the voice shines through the older recordings. Corelli was basically a late '50s- early '70s era artist. Pavarotti made his first big splash in the late '60s, and sang well well into the '90s.

I split a bottle of vodka with him one night in Modena, spring '86.
