with ray allen, paul pierce, stephon marbury, kevin garnett, Mikki Moore
and eddie house are appearently looking to add more veterans to their squad.

is that why they are shopping rondo? to get even more veterans?

i mean they just added rasheed wallace who is also a veteran
(An NBA source said tonight that Detroit free agent forward Rasheed Wallace has committed to sign with the Celtics on July 8 when free agents are able to sign.)


and they are looking to add grant hill too.
(The Celtics also have interest in Suns free agent forward Grant Hill.)



might as well send tmac that way....dont ya think?

Yea but they add veterans that are relatively healthy(note Garnett). I would veto a trade that would send Tmac there, because it would be too easy for his lazy ass to get past the first round and get a ring!

Why not tell Deke to play one more year and play for the Celtics. It would be a great way to finish His career as a champion. He does deserve it. :)

Nothing wrong with that. Its like the bachelor party before you get married.

Old teams historically do not win championships. The only way itd work would be an all or nothing approach how they're doing it, not just old players but old all star players.

They're shopping Rondo mostly to set him straight I think. More than likely he stays

Why not tell Deke to play one more year and play for the Celtics. It would be a great way to finish His career as a champion. He does deserve it. :)

They tried to get him, he chose to resign here instead.

They already have their rings. KG, Pierce, Allen, and House have rings. Marbury and Moore are not re-signing with the Celtics this off season.
