question

how can I use my laptop as a blu-ray player when it just has a dvd-rw drive?Do you want to play Blu-ray discs? You must have a Blu-ray drive, then an output to a large screen. :o Perhaps start this as a thread in the hangout?

The laptop has a dvdrw drive but then future down it says you can use the hdmi out to play the latest blu-ray movies to your home theater.

I believe he was referring to the ebay listing, where it shows a picture that says BLUE RAY on the laptop's screen and says use HDMI to watch HD onto your tv.

But the Laptop has a dvd drive.

Lol. I borrowed that ad from dell and is a generic description of the Inspiron Laptops. I guess you can use blue ray if a laptop were to be customized that way.

Just posted pictures this evening. Thanks for looking. Didn't take pictures of the laptop itself b/c I didn't think it was necessary. I already stated in the description that item is like new so you could expect the same condition as a new laptop. No scratches, dents, etc.

I could do anywhere between $200 and $300 for it

;)

Nice laptop, I would advise you use more flexible pricing than a BIN

Can't afford to do that since I just bought it for a little over $800 a couple months ago. Laptop is still pretty much new.

I'm not sure what that means. All the details are in the link at the top of the page.

probably has the crummy sigma tel soundcard with "stereo-mix" factory disabled. I hope Dell addresses this soon if they haven't done so already.
