Does the new Reliant (Texans) stadium look smaller..?

Yes it isn't finished yet, but does it look smaller than you thought?..I just passed it and 1. I was amazed at how close it is to the dome and 2. It really looked smaller than I thought....Of course I didn't look too long or I would crash on 610 today but that is what it seemed to me.

Drive past it on Kirby and then tell me again it looks small! http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/smile.gif I've had the chance to get close up to the construction on a few occassions when I did shows at the Astrohall and it is freakin' huge up close. Yes, it is close to the dome.

It's a bit smaller in size but the same in seating capacity, because the elevation of the seats, especially in the upper levels, is almost straight up!

I'ts gonna be hell navigating those stairs to your seats after a few beers!

I got a good view of it from the 49th floor downtown, and, no, it does not look small at all next to the dome.

When I make my once-a-month or so pilgrimage to Houston I drive by it near Fannin and 610. The first thing I said when I saw it first being constructed was "damn, that thing looks huge". Maybe it's a perception thing, but next to the Dome it makes the Dome look like a hut.

Well, I think it is smaller than I thought it would look seeing it for the first time. Yes it's big, but I thought it would be bigger.
