First time in Houston since 1986

Major League Baseball's All-Star Game is coming back to Houston.
Team owners, at a meeting today in Pittsburgh, awarded the 2004 Midsummer Classic to the Houston Astros and Enron Field.
Enron Field was selected over Pittsburgh's PNC Park, San Francisco's Pacific Bell Park, Arizona's Bank One Ballpark and Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park.
The game will be the first for Enron Field, which opened last season, and the third to be held in the city of Houston. The All-Star Game was played at the Astrodome in 1968 and again in 1986. This year's All-Star Game will be played at Seattle's SAFECO Field on July 10. Next year's All-Star Game will be played at Miller Park in Milwaukee and the 2003 game will be played at Chicago's Comiskey Park. An American League team is host during odd-numbered years and NL teams host the event during even-numbered years.
Houston will become only the second city to host an All-Star Game and a Super Bowl in the same calendar year, joining Atlanta, which hosted both events last year. Reliant Stadium, under construction adjacent to the Astrodome and the future home of the Houston Texans of the National Football League, is the site of the 2004 Super Bowl.
