Oh btw: GO RAFTER!
I like Agassi. But Rafter has to be the most exciting player to happen to men's tennis since Agassi. I love serve and volley.

Tennis is the most boring sport, unless Anna is playing...

Agassis is playing strong right now. I dont think he can be stopped. Whoever wins this match will go on to win the Open because mostly the top player are out.
Rafter will have his fans behind him since he is Australian.
Agassi represents america but he is really from Iran.

Tennis is a very thrilling to play. There is something about sports with weapons that is so primal...

HP,
Sure why not Tennis chat tonight, however you will probably be fast alseep, maybe if goes for 5 long sets you might be up.
Both of them are certainly playing well, Agassi loves to run players around and Rafter loves running around.
The classic battle between the Baseliner and a Serve and Vollier.
Should be great

It's a night game here in Australia, so it still about 8 hours away from starting.

F3, no way they show it live. My question is: what day is it scheduled for on tape delay. I guess tomorrow night, right?

Don't worry HP, I live in the same country, but a different state and they never usually show the night games live, they usually show it in prime time 8:30pm with the womes game first, normally on half an hour or 1 hr delay, hope fully tonight they show it live and i will be home from netball by then.

Rafter all the way. I was rooting for Todd, but he ran into the brick wall called Agassi. C'mon Raft, its about time you protected your "home court advantage".

Where do you guys play tennis??
------------------
The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

Go Rafter...give it to the yanky bastard and show no remorse!
Joking...
Serioulsy...I think Pat can win, but Aggasi is a great player and may be just a bit mentally stronger. It should be a great game and the whole country will be watching.

Sensational game and full marks to Agassi for his win. He is one of the all tiem greats, and a hell of a nice bloke also...especially for a
yank;-)
Pat really started to cramp up badly...but that can't take anything away from Andre's win, as it was the way Agassi played that caused Pat's cramps (making full use of the court etc)
I watched it in Sydney...where we also had a bloody hot night like they did in Melbourne...and you have to applaud both blokes. It was incredibly humid, to a dangerous level almost, and it's testimony to how fit these guys are that they could play at that levle in those conditions.
Good luck to Agassi in the final:-)

You gotta admit, tennis has lost much of its bounce. I used to play tennis as a youth when BJORN BORG was the king!!! Guess I'm old skool...or just old. Agassi will win for sure!!!!!!
uh...I think.
