so i'm watching the lakers play the mavs while i wait for the real game to start... my predicament, do i hope the hated mavs win and give the rockets a bigger cushion in first place, or do i cheer for the lakers because the mavs are... well the mavs.

who are you going for?

i hope the Lakers win, that way our win over them without Gasol means something. Also, Dallas might be knocked out of the playoff picture if they go on a losing streak

come on Mavs, beat the lakers. the Rockets need more space for better seeding.

i don't think seeding matters in the west this season, but i would rather dallas goes on a losing streak and goes out of playoff contention.

I'm surprised how well the Lakers are doing so far. Who would have though it would be 48-33! I expected them to have a very tough time winning this game.

I still think the Mavs will win and the Lakers will lose again Thursday in Utah. That would give them a 4 game losing streak and drop them to 45-23.

the mavs are being run off the floor. at least if they're gonna lose, they'll be blown out :D

I have to post again. 59-38??!!

We all know the Mavs have never been known for beautiful, fluid offense under Avery Johnson. But they look very unmotivated out there tonight, which is surprising.

76-51, 3rd quarter. Oh, btw, we have beaten the same Lakers on Sunday.

the mavs came back strong. they made it interesting at the end.

Major choke job by the Lakers but that's a good thing because the close loss will sting the Mavs. Dirk messed up by not jumping into Odom.

Charles Barkley had a point. Dirk faked Odom off his feet and Dirk didnt jump into him to draw a foul. Instead, Dirk just avoided the contact to jack up a 30 feet 3-ptr. Just dumb!

Of course, had dirk drawn that foul and been awarded 3 FT's to win the game, this entire board would go off on how it was a flop and that's all Dirk does.
