Will any of you be watching the election night coverage?
If so, which coverage, and why?
Will anyone be watching the election night alternatives -- movie specials, Rockets, etc.
Will anyone be watching the Daily show live election night special?

I have a show and won't be home until about 10:30 ugh!
But being the news junky that I am, I'll probably be flipping from CSPAN, CNN, MSNBC, NY1, NBC, ABC, and of course, the Internet.
By all accounts, its going to be a long night!

If you want up-to-the-minute arena election results, go to the front page of cc.net or SOR and click the link and a pop-up window will come up with frequently updated info.
Thanks to Clutch for doing it and my wife for keeping tabs on the numbers.

The Daily Show, maybe. If Bush wins Florida, there's pretty much no reason to watch anymore.

KAtie Couric looked wiped out.
Everybody was soooooo tired. They just plain ran out of stories to tell. It was funny to watch them lose focus last night. That rarely happens. How many times did we here the same questions being asked to the same people, over and over again. Still, and despite that, it was fun to watch it unfold.

Dan Rather was loosing it by the time Florida was announced. It must have been way past his bedtime. He announced that California had elected Hillary Clinton their new Senator, among other mistakes.
The Daily Show was a riot. I really liked the interviews with Presidential Candidate Dily (independent).
Did you see poor Katie this morning? Why didn't they let that poor woman go home!?

Katie Couric looked hysterical. She looked tired and pissed. Her hair was all freaked out and her make up was screwed up. Hilarious.
Brokaw was grinning like some drunk at a bar at last call. He had big ol' bags under the eyes and was slurring worse than usual. Too funny.

I thought Brokaw was a bit rough around the edges last night. On two occasions I saw him blatantly put down a comment by Katie Couric. Now I'm no fan of Couric, but it seemed a little harsh and inappropriate.

The Daily Show was hilarious. I didn't watch any other report. I was listening to the archives of The Ticket's morning show while keeping track of the vote tally on the Internet. I ended up seeing the Daily Show when it repeated later in the night.

Brokaw was tough on Katie. She asked a legitimate question about the President Distancing himself from Gore, and Rather looked at her like she was an idiot. I felt bad for her. He never responded. He then said why don't you ask that question to Blah Blah. It was somewhat insulting if you ask me. Even if he was tired. It was poorly handled.

Now that you mention it, I did notice several occasions where Katie would make a point, trying to discuss some aspect of the election, and Brokaw would just go to something else without responding.
