Rocketman95, I agree baseball needs some kind of a cap or something. But u cant blame the Yankees for doing all they can to win a championship. Its not there fault there is no cap. Teams like Dodgers, Red Sox, Braves, Mets, Orioles, Indians, etc. spend a sh!t load of money also. But the Yankees know how to win along with spending money.

I agree with you too Rocketman95, baseball desperately needs a cap, but I also don't think the absence of a cap is entirely to blame. Look at the Orioles. They spend in excess of $80 million and suck!!! Also, the Yankee's weren't the best team in baseball(record wise) this season and have been tested by two good teams in the Athletics, who have a pretty low payroll, and the Mariners, who have a pretty talented team for the money they spend. Money can get good players, but the players still have to perform.

Anyway, Clemens pitched great tonight. Can you believe it, almost a no-hitter and 15 strike outs!!! He also threw about 140 pitches, which is unheard of!!!

What a great night, the Rockets win and The Rocket wins!!

Amen RM95, this is getting ridiculous. The Yankees total salaries are almost equal to the GNP of a small country. The disparity in baseball could not be more visible.
