I still don't really understand this. Owens scores a touchdown, runs to the star, throws the ball down, looks up with his arms open wide, runs to his bench, not once yelling or looking at the Cowgirls' bench.

Smith scores a touchdown, takes his helmet off (a penalty that wasn't called), runs to the star, throws the ball down, yells and glares at the Niner bench.

Owens scores again, runs to the star (which he wouldn't have done a second time if Smith wouldn't have done it), in the meantime, Teague attempts a cheapshot that could have very easily hurt the guy bad.

And Owens is the bad guy? If anything, Teague is the bad guy. I really had no problem with Smith or Owens. I think Owens was having fun, Smith took it personally, which is fine, he did it too. But the Cowgirls were too pissed that they were being beaten like redheaded stepchildren by the second-worst team in football that they had to resort to cheap shots, kicking footballs out of ref's hands and throwing their helmets around like little bitches.

I've always hated Owens, especially after he beat my Packers in 1999, but geez, he's being called the unclassy one when Teague tried to blindside him. I'll like him just for that reason alone.

I haven't seen the play that you're talking about yet, and I don't think I want to. Taunting, in general, is classless and only reveals inexperience in the one doing the taunting. Smith would have done much better by conducting himself in the manner that he always has and ignoring the monkey-like antics of Terrell Owens. It's much more demoralizing, in my opinion, to act like you've actually been to the endzone before...rather than act like it's one of the biggest moments in your life thus far.

They certainly don't have the talent base now. I am a Cowboy fan, but I also like the Broncs and the TExans will be my favorite team. Anyway, sorry to go off on a tangent, but I think if Jones would have kept Jimmy and if there wasn't a salary cap, Dallas would have won at LEAST 2 more Super Bowls in the 90's.

Owens running to the star was definitely a taunt, no but's about it. I really haven't seen another player taunt a team like that. I've seen trashtalk, but to run 50 yards(twice) and stand on the home teams symbol and to spike the ball on it is taunting. I really wish Teague would have knocked him on his @$$. But I certainly wouldn't want Owens injured or anything.

The only real way to respond to a taunt like that and make Owens and the 49ers look bad is to go to Frisco and do the same stuff on their home turf. Let's see how they like it. Of course, the Cowgirls would have to be in control of the game first because, if you lose, it doesn't matter anyway.

The bottom line with the Cowgirls is the wide receiver core is injured and the quarterback can't do anything but drop back and pass with no scrambling or rushing ability. He is a sitting duck back there with receivers who can't get open or catch a ball. Then, you rush the ball and, if that gets you nowhere, then your screwed....as they are. We would have had a better chance of being in the game with Cunningham. The only focal point any more for Aikman is whether or not he is going to get his arse knocked out with a concussion.

The names may have changed some but the song remains the same....cowgirls suck.

Saw the replay this morning. Teague did in fact knock Owens on his a**. Owens just had no reason to do that. Keep it in the endzone, or better yet, head to the sidelines. Why he wasn't flagged I don't know.

I also think Randall should start. He brings an added dimension to the game. I would also guess his arm is at least as strong as Aikmans.

R95, I think b-ball and football are a little different. I think if Cuttino ran 30 yards and spiked the ball on the Sonics logo in a blowout, I would have no problem with Payton giving him a shove. If Owens takes off his shirt, and pounds it on the Dallas logo, I think Teague should knock him on his @$$ again.

This isn't whether I like the Cowboys or not, I thought Owens showed no class (in a blowout) and wanted to embarass a horrible
Dallas team.

I was listening to the Rome show on Monday (nothing else was on okay http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/frown.gif ), and he had some substitutes doing his show. Well this one guy calls up and says how what Owens did was wrong. Rite there he gets "run" for not having his facts straight. They said it was JJ Stokes who did it, not Owens. They hung up on the poor guy when they themselves dont have the correct info. Just shows how stupid everyone is on the stupid Rome show.

BTW, I thought that the guy hosting on Monday was some former piece of crap backup weekend sports guy from Austin. I'm pretty sure that Jay Mohr didn't host until later this week.

Also, Jay Mohr is freakin hilarious. He was great in Go, Action (now showing on FX), and Jerry Maguire.
