I haven't heard of this but since I use a company issued phone as my primary phone would I then be able to start giving out a grand central number and if I ever move on from this company i could just use the grand central number for my new phone? Is that how it could work?

Yes, exactly. When you leave your company, just update on the website the forwarding phone number grand central will point to.

Yes. for example (phone#)@grandcentral.com can be forwarded to (phone#)@tmomail.net.

We discovered Grand Central today after we wanted to have a local phone number in Austin, SA, Dallas point to our Houston number. I wanted something easy to use and didn't want to go with a full Voip provider just for virtual phone number call forwarding.

I have heard some people use grandcentral to receive free phone calls on your cell phone. If you have tmobile fav 5.....you can include your grandcentral number as one of your fav5 and give everyone your grandcentral number....you will have unlimited minutes whenever someone calls your grancentral number...I haven't tried it out myself so i'm not 100% sure if it works

Well, I found an application that takes my problem with grandcentral away. Granted, Ribbit isn't up and running yet, and doesn't do everything grandcentral does, but does do a lot of things grandcentral doesn't...all with your exisiting number.
