Let me guess, you're trying to install a video card? Either way, yes, there's a huge difference. An AGP slot on a motherboard is for a video card. An ISA slot is for any 16-bit device (including video cards). ISA slots are slowly being phased out by PCI slots (the white slots on most mobos nowadays).

Thanks Dr Of Dunk. That's exactly what I'm trying to do. I also had another question, are there any ISA to PCI converters? Or ISA to AGP? Is there any way I can addon another slot? Thanks.

If they do exist, I'm not aware of any. FYI, a good new motherboard with 1 AGP slot, 1 or 2 ISA slots, and several PCI slots can be had for about $70-$80.

What exactly are you trying to do? Why do you need a converter?
