ok, someone explain to me what's the incentive for purchasing these?

so they have a 6 pack, a 13-game Friday night pack, a 13 game Sunday plan, etc.

let's say i buy a single game ticket in the Bullpen for $24. i compare that to the weekend 6 pack and that cost $144. 144 divided by 6 = 24. it costs me the same as if i had bought 6 individual game day tickets. shouldn't they at least give you a discount for purchasing in advance that many games?

I think that they should but they don't. They try to tell you how great it is to have the same seat at each game which I do not think is a big deal.

If you get one of these don't you have first priority on the seats for the playoffs? Or is that just with the Rockets mini- packs?

I think it's the same way with full season tickets (or was). Where a season ticket package is just the cost of 81 games. I've never understood that - why on earth would I want season tickets instead of just buying tickets to the games that I want to go to?

This plan does not include playoff options, but you may wish to ask about our 27-game mini-season plans, which guarantee options through the World Series.

They should, but they don't. The Yankees have three prices for a game. They have pre-advance purchase price, then game day price and then premium game price..

lots of teams do and it would be nice.

You do get to gaurantee yourself a decent seat for each game so that is nice.

Here is what the Rockets do for our seats.

60-individual game
57-half or part season tickets
55-season tickets

5x44=$220 x however many tickets it helps a little for sure.

Maybe the Astros organization think we're all as stupid as Tim Purpura?

We got to the playoffs in recent years past by having the best pitching in the NL. Now in our division, the Brewers have a better staff and many argue the Cubs do, adding anything from Prior and Wood is gravy.

Sorry to go off topic. I do like Jennings. Too bad he'll be gone next year. :(
