What place in Houston do you guys think has the best chicken strips? I used to think it was Wing Stop (they call them boneless wings) but I bought the ones at Toyota Center, and DAMN! those are good. Theres a place on Westheimer, i forgot the name, that sells only chicken strips or something, the chicken is juicy, but not very tasty.

I always felt that chicken strips would taste great if they had the same seasoning that curly fries have.
... or cajun seasoning.

Wing Stop wings are nasty - scrawny with no meat. Never tried their chicken strips since I don't really eat those. I went to a local Wing Stop in the Dallas area wearing my Rockets cap and shirt ... as soon as I entered the register-ringing-rugrat tells me I'd have to leave because "this is a Mavs zone". After tearing into each other, I told him to take my order and we could argue after that. lol.
After much thinking, I refuse to eat at Wing Stop after that and besides... Troy Aikman is a sponsor (part owner?) of the franchise. BARF.
The best fried chicken I've had is Popeye's - they have strips. Their regular fried chicken can be ordered spicy or mild, but I'm not sure about their strips... I haven't had Frenchy's in forever, but I thought that used to be good - but then I was a kid and garbage probably tasted good to me back then. :D
Man, I love paying 8 or 9 bucks for chicken strips at Toyota Center.

Nah, I'm not. I know it's popular to hate it, but I like it. I don't eat fried chicken much anymore - maybe once every 4 or 5 months, but I love spicy foods and I think they're better than the other chains.

That really isn't saying much considering all the others (KFC, Churches.. am I missing one?) really suck.

Best chicken strips are homemade. The worst ones are from Sonic.

Never had the ones from Sonic, the worst ones I've had are from Hooters. Its basically just fried batter in the shape of chicken strips.

The problem with Sonics are similar. They're small and most of the strip is just fried batter.

Yeah, but that's like all the BBQ, burger, etc. people saying theirs is the best. Well, when you start a store up, let me know - otherwise, your food is pretty worthless to me. Unless of course the next time you make fried chicken, you want some strangers to show up at your door saying "PROVE IT'S BETTER!!!" :D

Boneless wings are basically chicken strips cut smaller and dunked in sauce. They suck because they're white meat and are therefore dry.

As someone who has wandered the earth for 29 years in search of the best chicken fingers around (it's why I was put on this planet, I think), I have to say that Houston's (and their tempura batter) is the clear winner. It's not listed on their menu, but trust me, they have 'em, and they're amazing. (However, I will say that the Park Ave. location in New York and the one in Santa Monica don't have them. The ones in Houston do, though.)
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to my quest to find the best damn cheese broccoli soup in the world. (Black-Eyed Pea has the lead so far...)

Right now, I would go with Caine's. I don't know, I just really dig those strips, I think I'll have some tomorrow. I think the Caine sauce might be one of the reasons, even though I'm sure it's just ketchup, mayo, and pepper. Years ago, I used to go to Pappa's Seafood House with my family a lot and I remember one of my favorite things to order was the Chicken and Shrimp. I just remember those chicken strips and that honey mustard being really good.

eek.. Jack in the Box falls into the same category as Sonic and Hooters.. just because you fry up some batter in the shape of chicken strips, doesn't make them chicken strips.
Buffalo Wild Wings is another good one, I saw someone mention it.
ALSO.. do you guys call em Strips or Fingers? Chickens don't have fingers, so I call them strips, but my girl calls them fingers.

Haven't seen it. Don't need to.
Here is the secret: I can eat whatever I want, but I make sure to stay with 100-150 grams of fat per day.
As of now, I weigh 185, but I did get to 240 once. I was able to take the weight off by simply not eating as much.
I figured it out when I went to Europe. They've got all sorts of fat-filled foods, yet you hardly see anyone overweight. It's mainly because they aren't nearly as gluttonous as we, as a nation, are.
To anyone who would like to shed a few, try my diet out. It truly does work. And pay no attention to calories. My brother, who lost close to 80 lbs. taught me that. Only watch your fat grams.
