Since Gary Payton is unhappy in Seattle, and at 31, his chances grow slimmer for a championship - this trade would definitely help him and the Rockets. Pippen has made it clear game after game, that he's not comfortable in this offense. So, this is very possible. Barkley is likely to return next season - since, he has a balloon payment next season, and closing this season healthy - helps his decision to comeback. But, one final chance at the Championship - with a point guard and leader, that the Rockets fans always dreamed of.
