View Full Version : Anyone famous?
Has anyone famous ever come to the site? Any Rocket? No, Azim, and I don't mean you pretending to be Matt Maloney! http://bbs.clutchcity.net/ubb/wink.gif

Good question. This is what I know/have heard:
Matt Maloney's brother has been to the site several times and he got me those locker passes after that Utah game I went to. NOW, he told me early last season that he was there when Clyde Drexler, Mario Elie and Matt were checking out the site, and they "liked it". He also said Matt didn't agree with everything, but liked it also. I didn't really believe him ... of course I didn't believe he was Matt's brother either, until he got me the passes from Matt himself.
Lance Zierlein of Sports 610 -- the SportsTalk show host for "The Bench" checks out the page and he writes every so often. The guy knows the Rockets -- cool guy -- interesting to hear his comments.
I've heard at one point or another that Eddie Sefko, Gene Petersen and Jim Foley have all been there -- but that's just from people who know them and told me they did. No way of knowing for sure.
I actually don't know any of these for sure except Lance. It would be nice to know for sure if some Rocket players have ever checked it out.
I've gotten into several email exchanges with a lot of sports writers, mainly the ones I bash on the page. The longest running feud has to be with Tom McEachin, the guy I simply can not stand who covers the Jazz for MSNBC and the Ogden paper. The guy always bashes Dream and attempts to cheapen his career by saying he's gotten away with murder for years.
