I think the Texans made the right decision, both on Carr *and* on the draft.

That said, Mr. Young has a history of being amazing when he has a chip on his shoulder. Texans defense is a far cry from good, despite many encouraging signs last week. Texans' running game finally looked decent last week (more encouraging signs), but against a DL that is shredded by injuries.

Titans win a close one.

I think it will be a close game as that is what Fisherball is all about. I think Travis Henry has regained confidence and will be a key to the Titans continued success. Remember the Texans rank near the bottom of the league at stopping the run. So the Titans will continue pounding the ball with Travis. I think Fisher will open up the playbook a little more and give Vince the opportunity to throw the ball more. I think he is gaining more confidence as each game goes by. It is nice seeing him pass so much and staying in the pocket. He is really focusing on learning the passing game and not running the ball so much. I like how the team is working with Vince. They are not putting to much pressure on his shoulders and the best thing is that he is getting valuable playing time and experience that will only help his development. The kid is going to be something special.... (I am sure he is going to be super jacked up to play the Texans)... I can't wait. Go Titans!!! ;)

Kam - One of our DBs sucks and that is Ryneldo Hill. His nickname should be Toast. However, PacMan Jones has put together a very solid season (at least when it comes to coverage). He may not have the INT's but QBs are not typically not throwing his direction. As I mentioned, he has shown me that he has the tools to be a #1 cover corner. It will be interesting match-up if he is matched up with Andre Johnson. Andre is a freaking beast... Plus he has a huge height advantage.

The other member of the Titans secondary that has really had a Pro-Bowl type season is Chris Hope. This guy has been a huge free agent acquistion over the past off-season and brings the D a solid safety that is not afraid to get in the middle in making tackles and provides veteran leadership.

Our other weakness in the secondary is Lamont Thompson.. :rolleyes: The guy also finds a way to get burned.

So in a nutshell I would not say our secondary sucks but we definately have areas that could get exposed. :(

Exactly. If Carr's numbers were even slightly off, 3/4 of this board would be demanding an explanation as to why Sage isnt starting. Bottom line, these are the facts whether you like them or not. At the risk of being labelled a VOF or whatever other labels that are being thrown around these days for folks that bleed burnt orange and have a strong loyalty for VY; I will predict that VY has a huge breakout game and Titans win this one. I wanted the Texans to draft VY and still feel they made a colossal mistake that the franchise will regret for MANY years to come. This is only the start of what will be a Hall of Fame career with multiple Super Bowls.
