I don't know which is worst, seeing them get in the playoff and get embarrased with their inconsistent offense or seeing them fade away from getting to the postseason. It's a very frustrating moment... :mad:

Well IF and it's a big if but if we can force (with help) a one game playoff Tuesday with Roy O than we are in.

That being said we need to go 2-0 and hope the Cards drop two out of three.

The odds are against it and by the way Preston hit another bomb tonight while that loser Lane did zip again.

I believe. The games still matter. The one thing the Astros have taught me over the past three seasons is to never give up on them no matter how bleak the scenario is. As much as I want to give up, I cant. There is just something inside me that tells me that the stros are going to pull this out. The Stros are going to need everyone on board and all of Houston needs to get behind them and our second favorite team the Brewers.

I was hoping for that miracle finish, the one that comes around once in a generation......where one team collapses and the other rides the wave in....

It almost happened to Cleveland against the Whitesox last year, and it almost happened to Houston this year......

It was fun watching the last 2 weeks, but the pressure is off of St. Louis now, and the lead too great.....if we could have kept withing 1/2 game, we had a chance....I would bet they don't even have to play the makeup game on Monday now.

I think it could happen, but it is HIGHLY unlikely.

I will say that the Astros HAVE to get out early tomorrow and put a number up on the scoreboard to pressure St. Louis....if the Braves get up, the Cards will be free swinging.
